On my last trip to Aldi, I became the proud owner of a 🇨🇦 Canadian 25 cent coin. Yup, this time, I got a Canadian quarter.

I went to Aldi for my usual groceries and bought a few items. At the checkout, the cart that I inherited from the previous customer had a Canadian quarter instead of an American quarter.
Times are hard. People are using other lower valued currencies inside American Aldi shopping carts. There is a viral video of an Indian guy showing people how to use a 5-rupee coin in Aldi shopping carts. Yes, what all these people do is wrong, if done intentinoally. But, looking at the bright side, at least, I get to increase my international coin collection.

Previously, I inherited a Ghanian 20 pesawas coin from my Aldi shopping cart. I have gotten other coins too, but just didn't bother taking photos.
I am looking forward to getting more international coins like this. 😊
