How to check Facebook Login History and Activity

Published August 30, 2023

Every day, people lose access to their Facebook accounts because their accounts get hacked. The hacker would have impersonated them and requested money and gift cards from their Facebook friends and done a lot more damage, or caused mischief in several different ways. If you managed to recover your Facebook account and want to know who hacked it or how many times the hacker accessed your account, or what their IP address is, this article is for you.

How do I make my Facebook account more secure?

Use two-factor authentication, also known as 2FA. Two-factor authentication provides an extra layer of security. When you enable two-factor authentication, you enter the account username and password, as usual. Facebook will send you a one-time password (OTP), either as an SMS on your phone or an authentication app such as Duo Mobile. You enter this OTP code on your login page and if correct, you are authenticated successfully. Another option for 2FA security is using a physical security key; this way you will not have to enter the OTP code at all.

This blog post will help you enable 2FA.
